Mount Hood Hogsback

We started at 6:30 AM from the Timberline lodge. We did this hike/ climb couple weeks ago and lack of snow compared to what we had couple of weeks ago was clearly noticeable. Until we got to Silcox hut at 7000 ft, there was not much on the ground.

Last time, we turned around at 9200 ft level. As soon as we came down, first thought that came to mind was .. okay so that was nice, but why didn't we go any higher! This time we went all the way upto hogsback and touched 10,600 feet level. Apparently as I learned afterwards - that is higher than any other peaks in Oregon.
